In Praise Of The Horse
Tribute To The Human/Equine Bond

 My One And Only

 Written & Contributed By
Jillian Larkin

As I sit here thinking about it,
There's nothing I can do.
I have lost my one and only friend,
I hope you miss him too.

Oh how we used to ride together,
We could sometimes fly.
As we canter around the course,
I can see the days pass by.

Galloping through the hills,
Way up far in back.
I can only remember the joy we had,
The days we never lack.

Your sweet disposition,
Your cute, kind face.
Remembering the fun we had,
It will never be erased.

Why was it you,
To leave without good-bye?
Why must you leave me so,
Forever will I cry.

I will never forget you,
My one and only friend,
I hope you're happy where you are,
With days that never end.

In memory of Onyx, the sweetest horse ever.
